What is your favorite thing to draw? Below, I've drawn a little clump with little flowery thingys. The subject, however, has more to do with the way it is drawn: The lines and their quality and style.
In this simple drawing, some of the lines have been brushed in quickly and sweep straight across the page to indicate the ground. Then I hatch-in shorter marks in a more intentional way to define the figurative elements.
It sort of comes and goes, but on a good day, I'm more or less aware of lines I want to draw as silly scribbles and other sets of lines that I try to draw with more touch.

THE HEALING JOURNEY
Hi, Chris here. I'm an artist and my goal is to help folks get out on the trail and make a creative connection with nature.
Hi, Linda here. I was born in Hubei province in central China. I speak Mandarin Chinese. I'm a professional interpreter so naturally my goal with Artist's Kayak is to be a sort of 'cultural bridge' for our international audience.
嗨，琳达在这里。 我出生在湖北省，当然我会说普通话。 我是一名专业口译员，所以我的目标是成为对我们的治疗之旅计划感兴趣的中国人的“文化桥梁”。
