Notice and appreciate nature. Mindfulness and higher awareness begin with powerful observational skills. Redevelop a sense of touch and sensitivity to dynamic relationships.
#2 - Body.
Physical health is the soil bed out of which mindfulness and a strong spirit can grow. Get out on the trail ...bike, hike, and kayak your way to joy and fitness!
#3 - Spirit.
Embrace curiosity, adventure, and love of learning. Be more childlike, inquisitive, fun-loving, and playful. Don't get caught up in trying to be perfect. Don't let pride and ego kill your spirit and enthusiasm for life.
READY TO GET WET?
Like kayaking, journaling helps me reinvigorate my creative life. The kayak and journal permit me the freedom to meander and wander as I please. As I do so, what comes back to me is a strong sense of playful curiosity and a renewed hunger to explore.
Creativity has a lot to do with our state of mind. And that playful sense of exploration ...that's what I'm trying to bring to my studio work.
